SquidHub v0.18.0
Your phone now keeps you in the loop: a bell on Home gathers unread rooms, requests and recent activity, and release notes live right in your Profile.
The bell remembers, too - notifications you've already read stay as quiet history instead of vanishing.
And writing long messages finally feels right: the box grows with your draft instead of squeezing everything into one line.
New
- Notifications on your phone - the bell now lives at the top of Home: unread rooms, requests and recent activity in one place, with a badge so you know when something's waiting.
- What's new, on mobile too - release notes moved into Profile; a small badge shows when there's something you haven't read yet.
- Every SquidHub link you share now unfurls with a proper preview card: blog posts and release notes show their own title card, info pages (security, privacy, docs and friends) show theirs, and even bare app links fall back to a branded card instead of plain text.
Changed
- The What's new and notifications panels keep to half the screen - long feeds scroll inside instead of running to the bottom edge.
- The message box grows with your draft - typing a longer message now expands the box up to about ten lines before it scrolls, instead of squeezing everything into a single line.
- The bell keeps your recent history - notifications you've already read stay in the list, dimmed; new ones carry a dot and clear one by one as you click them. The notifications and What's new panels are also the same compact size now.
Fixed
- Pages open at the top - drilling into a settings page on your phone no longer inherits how far you'd scrolled the list before it.
- No more dead ends on your phone - opening Billing from a notification (or API keys from an error message) now shows a back button to return where you were.
